Rewards and Benefits (R&B)
The term rewards and benefits is usually used to denote the 'complete' employee reward package including pay.
Latest research reveals that individuals are attracted, retained and engaged by a whole range of financial and non-financial rewards and that these can change over time depending on their personal circumstances. (CIPD factsheet).
There is not a one size fits all and for a R&B package to deliver the required results organisations need to identify what attracts, retains and motivates their employees (potential and existing ) and determine how they can meet these needs; or not.
